A 3.0 x 6.5 metre extension at the rear of the home in Eindhoven, combined with a full renovation of the ground floor and a new bathroom upstairs — entirely realised by us, from foundation to final finish.
For this project we built an extension of 3 by 6.5 metres at the rear of the home in Eindhoven (Achtse Barrier), including a complete opening in the existing rear facade. For this opening we installed a steel beam, so the extension and living room connect in one fully open space. The extension features two window frames with double patio doors, finished to a high standard, and a 2.5 by 1.5 metre roof light on the flat roof for extra daylight. We built the overhang on the extension in timber exterior panels with integrated spotlights, including preparation for a future canopy. Not just downstairs — the entire rear facade, including the upper floor, was rebuilt in brickwork, with new window frames and matching sills installed upstairs.

Inside, we tackled the entire ground floor: a new kitchen with all the associated installation work, a renovated toilet, underfloor heating, new electrics for the extension and a complete plaster finish with new vinyl flooring throughout the ground floor. Upstairs, connecting to the new window frames in the rear facade, we created a brand-new bathroom complete with all the associated plumbing and finishing.
